Sugaring & Waxing

Before your treatment

Prep your skin for a smoother, longer-lasting result:

1. Let it grow
Hair should be at least ¼ inch long (about the length of a grain of rice). That’s typically 10–14 days of growth.

2. Gently exfoliate 24-48 hours before
Use a mild scrub or dry brush to remove dead skin and help prevent ingrown hairs — but avoid harsh exfoliants or acids.

3. Avoid lotions and oils day-of your treatment
Clean, dry skin is best. Skip heavy creams, oils, or self-tanners before your appointment.

4. Skip sun exposure
Don’t wax over sunburn! Avoid tanning beds and direct sun for 24–48 hours before your service.

5. Stay hydrated & relaxed
Drink water and arrive calm — tension can make the process more uncomfortable.

6. Take a mild pain reliever if needed
An ibuprofen or acetaminophen 30 minutes before can help minimize discomfort (optional, not required!).

After your treatment

Soothe and protect your skin for the smoothest results:

1. Avoid heat + sweat for 24 hours

No hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, or workouts — let your skin settle.

2. Wear loose, breathable clothing

Tight clothing can rub and irritate freshly waxed skin — think cozy, not constricting.

3. Hands off!

Avoid touching the area to prevent irritation or transferring bacteria.

4. No exfoliation for 48 hours

After two days, you can gently exfoliate to prevent ingrown hairs — but skip scrubs and acids until then.

5. Skip lotions, oils, and fragrance

For 24 hours post-wax, avoid anything scented or heavy on the skin.

6. Stay out of the sun

Your skin is more sensitive post-waxing — avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 24–48 hours.

7. Use a calming product if needed

Aloe vera, fragrance-free lotions, or a post-wax serum can help soothe any redness or bumps.

8. Maintain a regular schedule

Consistent waxing (every 4–6 weeks) helps hair grow back finer and sparser over time.

Facial

Before Your Treatment

Set the stage for glowing, healthy skin:

1. Skip at-home exfoliation

Avoid scrubs, peels, or retinol for at least 48 hours before your facial to prevent sensitivity.

2. Avoid harsh skincare treatments

Don’t use active ingredients like AHAs, BHAs, or retinoids for 2–3 days prior.

3. Stay out of the sun

Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning (including spray tan) for 24–48 hours before your facial.

4. Hold off on waxing or hair removal

Don’t wax, sugar, or thread your face the same day — give it 24–48 hours to settle.

5. Arrive with clean skin

Come makeup-free if possible. We’ll do a double cleanse, but clean skin is always a great start.

6. Let us know what you’re using

Bring a list (or photo) of your current skincare products — this helps us tailor your treatment safely and effectively.

7. Hydrate well

Drink plenty of water before and after your appointment for optimal skin recovery and glow.

After Your Treatment

Support your glow and protect your skin with a few easy steps:

1. Skip makeup for 24 hours
Let your skin breathe and soak in the benefits of your treatment.

2. Avoid touching your face
Your pores are open and your skin is more sensitive — keep hands clean and off!

3. Stay out of the sun
Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, or direct heat (like saunas) for 48 hours to protect fresh skin.

4. Keep skincare simple
Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer only. Avoid exfoliants, retinol, or active ingredients for 2–3 days.

5. Don’t pick or exfoliate
Let any purging or breakouts pass naturally. Your skin is healing — treat it gently.

6. Hydrate inside & out
Drink plenty of water and use a nourishing moisturizer to lock in your glow.

7. Delay waxing or hair removal
Avoid facial waxing, sugaring, or threading for at least 48 hours post-facial.

8. Book your next glow
Consistency = results. Regular facials help maintain healthy, radiant skin.

Spray Tan

Before Your Treatment

Prep like a pro to get the most natural, even, and long-lasting glow:

1. Exfoliate 24 Hours Before

Gently exfoliate your entire body with a sugar scrub or exfoliating mitt to remove dead skin cells. Avoid harsh scrubs that contain oils.

2. Shave or Wax in Advance

Hair removal should be done at least 24 hours before your appointment to prevent irritation and ensure even color application.

3. Avoid Oils & Lotions

On the day of your tan, come with clean, dry skin. Skip any oils, moisturizers, deodorants, or perfumes — these can block the solution.

4. Remove Makeup & Deodorant

Makeup and deodorants can create barriers or cause discoloration. We recommend arriving with a clean face and underarms, or removing these at the studio.

5. Wear Dark, Loose-Fitting Clothing

Bring or wear loose, dark clothing and flip-flops to avoid rubbing or smudging your fresh tan. Avoid tight bras, leggings, or jeans post-session.

6. Plan Around Water & Sweat

Avoid activities that involve water, sweating, or tight clothing for 8–12 hours after your appointment so the tan can fully develop.

After Your Treatment

Protect your glow and extend the life of your custom spray tan:

1. Wait Before Rinsing

Avoid showering, sweating, or getting wet for 8–12 hours (or as instructed) to let the tan fully develop. No workouts, rain, or skin contact with water during this time.

2. Rinse, Don’t Scrub

Your first rinse should be quick and gentle — no soap, no exfoliants. Just lukewarm water to remove the bronzer layer. Pat dry with a towel (don’t rub).

3. Avoid Moisture Blockers

Skip heavy lotions, oil-based products, or bar soaps — they can fade your tan faster. Stick to fragrance-free, alcohol-free moisturizers.

4. Moisturize Daily

Hydrated skin = longer-lasting tan. Moisturize morning and night with a gentle, nourishing lotion to help maintain even fading.

5. Skip Exfoliation for 5–7 Days

Avoid loofahs, scrubs, or resurfacing products until you’re ready to remove the tan and prep for your next appointment.

6. No Long Hot Showers or Baths

Stick to lukewarm water and short showers. Heat and steam can fade your tan faster.

7. Glow Maintenance Between Visits

Extend your color with our at-home Beet Glow products, available in-studio or online. Perfect for touch-ups and keeping that post-tan radiance.

Brows

Before Your Treatment

1. Let your brows grow

Avoid tweezing or trimming for at least 2–3 weeks so we

have your natural shape to work with.

2. Avoid exfoliating or retinol products

Skip harsh skincare (like AHAs, BHAs, or retinol) around your brow area for 48 hours before your appointment. This helps reduce irritation during shaping and tinting.

3. Arrive with clean skin

Come in makeup-free (especially around your brows) so we can see your natural brow line and tint evenly.

4. Avoid self-tanning products
Tanning products can affect the final tint color. Skip facial tanners (especially near the brow area) for 24–48 hours before your visit.

5. Skip the caffeine (if you're sensitive)

It can make skin a bit more reactive or sensitive during shaping or waxing.

6. Know your brow goals (or let us guide you)

Bring inspiration pics or simply trust our brow experts to create a custom shape and tint that enhances your natural beauty.

After Your Treatment

Keep your brows looking fresh, defined, and irritation-free:

1. Avoid touching or rubbing

Let your skin calm and avoid touching the area to prevent irritation or breakouts.

2. Keep brows dry for 24 hours

Avoid water, steam, or sweat to allow the tint to fully set and last longer.

3. Skip skincare near your brows

Avoid applying retinol, exfoliants, or oils on or around the brows for 2–3 days post-treatment.

4. No makeup on the brow area for 24 hours

This helps prevent clogged pores and allows your skin to heal after shaping or waxing.

5. Don’t exfoliate the area

Steer clear of scrubs or chemical exfoliants on your brows — it can fade the tint faster.

6. Avoid direct sun or tanning beds

Excessive sun exposure can cause your tint to fade sooner and may irritate freshly shaped skin.

7. Use a gentle brow gel or oil after 48 hours

After the first 2 days, a nourishing brow serum or oil can keep hairs soft and help maintain your shape.
